Preposição em Inglês é uma classe de palavras invariável que liga dois elementos da oração.

Preposições em Inglês vamos lá. A preposição faz parte da classe de palavras invariáveis da língua portuguesa. Sua principal função é estabelecer entre palavras e orações relações de sentido e de dependência, portanto, uma relação de subordinação. Apesar de não desempenharem função sintática, as preposições são importantes para a construção do texto, pois atuam como conectivos, elementos indispensáveis para a coesão textual.

We commonly use prepositions to show a relationship in space or time or a logical relationship between two or more people, places or things. Prepositions are most commonly followed by a noun phrase or pronoun (Italics):

• The last time I saw him he was walking down the road.
• I’ll meet you in the cafe opposite the cinema.
• It was difficult to sleep during the flight.
• It was the worst storm since the 1980s.
• Give that to me.
